Pet Loss Support Group
The loss of a beloved animal companion can be just as painful as the loss of a human friend or family member. Yet it is often hard for others to fully understand how difficult such a loss can be. Having a safe place to share with others who are also experiencing the grieving process can be supportive and healing. The Forsyth Humane Society want to help community members deal with the loss of their pets by offering a Pet Loss Support Group. The group will begin monthly on the third Tuesday of the month and will meet from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. We will meet at Highland Presbyterian Church at 2380 Cloverdale Ave. in their Activities Building. This free confidential group will be led by a counselor and clinical social worker. If you are interested in attending any of the sessions, please call the FHS at 336-721-1303 for more information.
